Santiago Ramón and Cajal was an important spanis historian, he did things very importants for the sciencie.
He discharged in medicine on 1873. He was acting assistant of anatomy in the School of Medicine of Zaragoza, director of Anatomics Museums of the University of Zaragoza, etc. and he doctored in the Complutense University of Madrid.
On 1888 he studied the connections of the nervous cellules.
On 1906, he won the Nobel Prize of Physiology and Medicine, for his discoveries about the structure of the nervous system and the neuron’s role.
Santiago Ramón and Cajal is so important that in Valencia there is a street with his name.
