tim burton

Tim Burton was born the 25 of august of 1958 in Burbank, California. Burton began to draw from he was so young, he was learning in the California Institute of the Arts, he studied the animation with a Disney scholarship, where he found a job like animator. He made one’s debut like director with the cartoons’ short, Vincent. The next work of Burton was a short calls Frankenweenie, a imaginative and young viewpoint of the legend of Frankenstein. Paul Reubens saw him and he decided that Burton, with only twenty years, was the ideal person to led his first feature film, Pee-wee’s Big Adventure, Burton was praised for his original viewpoint in this movie and he got a big success, that it leaded to the supernatural Beetlejuice.

After that, Tim Burton has directed a lot of extraordinary films with splendid casts, eerie pictures and fantastic stories. In Hollywood, they admires his originality and his risky work. Tim Burton is my favorite director because he has a very characteristic and funny style. I have never seen a bad or boring Burton’s film and two of my favorites movies are Burton’s films (Big Fish and Edward Scissorhands). Moreover, he always have wonderful actors that they fits in his mad and funny characters perfectly, Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Depp.

Tim Burton gives to his movies an unique touch that do them very special. I love his films because they always grip me from the beginning and because all his movies have a magic and fantasize side that make me feel like in a dream.

ulaluna

Ulaluna is a young girl that she belong to the tribe of the Litoga lake, a tribe of only five families, that it lives in the north pole’s region, away from the civilization. Everything was fine for Ulaluna until the morning of the big change, Ulaluna was playing with her friends and she was swept out. Ulaluna appeared in a rare earth, away from her home. From this moment she is meeting different and estrange people while she looks for the return’s way. This is a very entertain book, because it has a lot of short capitols and in every capitols she find a new and interesting adventure. I am reading this book because it is one of the books that Vera has recommended me and she has lent me (together with The violet diary of Carlota, I asked for this book to Vera because I have read The red diary of Carlota and I loved it) and I’m very happy for that because I am enjoying with the return to home of Ulaluna. I like that every capitols give you something about to think with a funny and fantastic form to see, though every this things are took of the reality. And I think that is genial the form to interact with the different characters, it has remembered me to the story of Alice in wonderland. This is a very interesting book that it is teaching me something new with every stories. Ulaluna is a book written for Jesús Ferrero, though he says that " She is the unique and really author of this book, I only made a note of Ulaluna dictates to me, in a place calls imagination."

paris je t'aime

Vera and I wanted to watch this movie because Vera likes French cinema and Elena was slept when she went to see it in the cinema (it doesn’t mean that the film wasn’t interesting). So after of many attempts, we got to watch it. Fine.

Paris, Je t’aime narrate different stories about love, from different points of view, that they happens in Paris. The 18 stories are directed by different directors, like; Olivier Assayas, Gérard Depardieu, Gurinder Chadha, Joel and Ethan Coen, Isabel Coixet, Alfonso Cuarón, Alexander Payne, Daniela Thomas, Oliver Schmitz, Gus van Sant… Vera: Directed by Isabel Coixet, my favorite story has been a story about a man that he wants to separate of his wife, because he is in love of an other women (Leonor Watling). When his wife said him that she has cancer, he decides to face to the circumstances and to stay with her. Then he rediscover his love for she. I like this story because it demonstrates that when the situations get worse, they can have their positive part, in spite of you think that everything were lost. Elena: One of the stories that I prefer is about a vampire woman fell in love of a boy (Elijah wood) and she is unable of to eat him. He try to keep her cutting his veins, but he doesn’t get it and he die. She save his life converting him in vampire. I loved this story because as I like books about fantasy romance, I know the importance of she doesn’t eat him. For us this film has meant a lot, because we wanted to see it from long time and because all the stories have transmitted us something. And it has attracted us for its different points of view of the different directors, we think that this is a very complete form to see the love.

Gothenburg is the second biggest city of Sweden that it is usually compared with San Francisco. Gothenburg was a port and an important center of international commerce that it prospered. Gothenburg has the most popular tourist attraction in Sweden, the Liseberg.
My brother, Carlos, is student of fourth year of his degree in the polytechnic of Valencia and now he is in Gothenburg for to study this year with a Erasmus scholarship. He went from the airport of Madrid last week. He lives in a residence of students with other Erasmus of different countries. This days, that there aren’t classes yet, they go out of party for the city and they meet new people, but the next month he will begin the new year in a new university, in a new country, with news teachers, news companions and everything in English. :) I’m happy for his departure because he will amuse very much, because he will learn how is the Sweden culture and because it is a very nice experience that I want to live when it is my turn too, but I love him a lot and I miss him. :(

Denmark is a country situated in the north part of Europe and it consist of a big peninsula called Jutland, it’s surrounded for the Sea of the North and for the Baltic Sea. It has near of 406 islands, the biggest islands are the Sjaelland and the Fyn. Faeroe and Greenland are of Denmark too. The economy. In Denmark there are a free commercial politic. Their level of life is one of the best in the world and they address an 1% of their GDP for to help others countries. Denmark is self-sufficient in energy. And they export machines, food and instruments. The gastronomy of Denmark is like the gastronomy of its neighbuor countries. The typical dishes of Denmark are greasy and heavy, this is for the clime and for the geographic situation. Denmark is a constitutional monarchy. The actual monarch is the Queen Marguerite II. The coin of Denmark is the Danish krone. A euro is like a bit more than seven krones (DKK). Denmark is a country where the equality of sex is fundamental, the women work and have the some benefits than the men. Situations like the nakedness, the drugs and the pornography are seen like normal things in the female and male sex. The bike is a transport very popular, because it’s free, sane and easy, since there are a lot of ways for bike and parking for the bicycles. Denmark is a wonderfull country.

my european comity..

My experience with the Europe Comity was really wonderful for different reasons: firstly, because I traveled to a new and beautiful country that I had never seen; second, because I had a cool time, since I went (for first time) of trip with my best friends to meet new people, and finally, because my correspondent is a lovely boy that I met him two years ago and we fell very well. Before of to go out from Spain, I was excited and anxious, because I had many desires of to go out and of to have a big fun, but I was also a bit worried for something that now I think that it’s stupid, I had fear of to lose my suitcases in the airport (and apart, I have always had a lot of fear of to die in a plane) . During my stay in Denmark I had a very genial time: I was with my friends, I went to the city, I went of shopping, I visited many places of Aarhus, we did the workshops, we had parties, we meet lots of people from others countries, ... And everything was brilliant. The last days I was a bit sad, because I didn’t want to come back to Spain and to have to say goodbye to everybody that I had met. When we come back to Spain, I felt some empty, but I was very happy for the fantastic memory that I got in Denmark. It was the best trip..

sahara..

The Saharan village was long ago a province, but when it suffered the Moroccan invasion, Spain left it to its luck. The Saharan village has been 30 years expelled from its place. And now, the survivors takes refuge in refugees camps en Algeria. And in spite of the fact that there is a ceasefire, there is a constant oppression for part of Morocco. For all this things we have to do the possible for to help them for that they recover of their situation. And although, is better to teach to fish than to hand over the fish, .. we have to try to send them all the possible help, because it’s the minimum that we can do. Intifada 4-6-07
